13 Doraemon Cartoon Unique Facts

13 Doraemon Cartoon Unique Facts

Who the hell doesn't know Doraemon? The figure of this cute & adorable cat robot has indeed become a figure of "Cross Generation." I asked my grandmother, mother, uncle, auntie, etc. from me alone ... All knew immediately and responded with a smile when asked or told to discuss this anime/manga character made by duo Fujiko Fujio.

Well ... all this time, as a Doramaniac (a strange term, indeed), I think all this time I have known almost everything about Doraemon ... but apparently not! How about you all? Come on, let's test your knowledge about this blue cat robot with some interesting facts about Doraemon that I collected from various sources ...

1. What does the name "Doraemon" mean?

Doraemon's name was actually created from 2 words: Dora & Emon. Dora is a kind of a play on "Nora" that comes from "Nora-Neko" namely stray paint. Emon is a kind of traditional additional word for the name of the human or male sex, for example, Ishikawa Goemon.

Literally, the name Doraemon can be interpreted as "Stray male cat" (male wild cat)

Dora can actually also mean "gong" (this is "Dora" used in the name of dorayaki cake) ... Although it's not "Dora" used in the name Doraemon ... but this is a kind of play, where Doraemon's body is round like a gong.

2. What is the production code of Doraemon?

Yes! Doraemon has an apparent production code, namely MS-903. This is the real name Doraemon as a robot, & with this name, he was called by the owner of the robot factory where he was produced.

This name was mentioned in the episode of Doraemon's 2007 birthday.

3. When was Doraemon Produced?

September 3, 2112, is the date on which Doraemon finished production

4. What are the lucky numbers from Doraemon?

Doraemon weighs 129.3 kg (285 lbs) & is 129.3 cm (4'3 ") high. He can run up to 129.3 km / h (80.3 mph) when he is scared & jumps 129.3 cm (424.2 feet) when he is in danger. Its maximum strength is 129.3 bhp. The wrist circumference is 129.3 mm. head circumference & power circle is 129.3 cm. Its legs are 129.3 mm in diameter. It was produced on September 3, 2112 (again 12/9/3), at the Matsushiba Robot Factory.

5. Who is Doraemon's ex-girlfriend in the 22nd century?

Noramyako. He was mentioned in the Doraemon Bonus Data at Tankoubon volume 11. Noramyako decided Doraemon because Doraemon was too short for him (after his ears were broken by a mouse).

6. What is the original color of Doraemon?

Doraemon's original paint color is yellow. After learning that his ears were bitten by a mouse, he was in depression, slipping up the tower, where he drank a potion labeled "sadness". When he cried, the yellow color faded & his voice changed because of the concoction.

Doraemon is good at speaking English because he understands the English term "In Blue" which means "being sad"

7. What is Doraemon School?

Yes. According to the spin-off series from Doraemon "The Doraemons", the school name of Doraemon is simple, namely the Robot School

8. What is the name of Nobita teacher?

The teacher's figure actually really worries Nobita too (but the base of Nobita is just too lazy, so yeah) This actually doesn't have a name from the start & only called Sensei. However, on the version that was played on Nihon Television, he was given the real name "Ganari"

9. Why Doraemon and Dorami is a family? I thought they were a robot...

This is an interesting mystery. Why are Doraemon and Dorami referred to as siblings?

Apparently, because they were both "born" from the same oil tank and "Doraemon" was born earlier than Dorami (2 years older), so he was called "brother", then Dorami was also hired by the Sewashi family after Doraemon, so he called "sister."

10. Why is Dorami better than Doraemon?

According to the data, Dorami is more powerful than Doraemon. Dorami is able to produce 10,000 horsepower, please compare it with Doraemon which can only produce 129.3 horsepower (Doraemon's figure)

11. When did Dorami appear in Nobita family?

Dorami actually did not immediately appear in the Nobita family, but in the family of his great-granddaughter Nobita in the 22nd century, Sewashi. Dorami was bought to replace Doraemon, who was sent to accompany Nobita. The one who has the Dorami is Sewashi and the one who sent Dorami (and Doraemon) as well as Sewashi. Dorami is usually sent to replace Doraemon's duty to protect Nobita if Doraemon is in important business so he cannot accompany Nobita, for example when he has to be tuned up at the factory.

12. Why is Doraemon afraid of mice?

Doraemon is afraid of mice due to trauma because his robotic ears are gnawed by mouse robots when he naps, but I'm sure this isn't the answer you're looking for.

Why "should" be afraid of mice? The answer may be rather inadequate and not a fact at all, just an opinion: yes because Fujiko Fujio wants it to be.

13. The number of magic tools in Doraemon's magic bag

Surely you are curious, how many magic devices are there in Doraemon's bag? If you know, surely you won't believe it. The small Doraemon magic bag can hold up to 4500 tools, including its most famous magic tools such as doors everywhere, time machines and bamboo propellers.

With that in mind ... I was only guessing that the duo Fujiko Fujio knew, that by creating reversed hunting (rats scaring cats, cats scaring dogs, humans scaring ghosts) as running gags in Doraemon ... it would add to the comedy that was good in this series , while enhancing the impression that Doraemon is an "adorable" and harmless robot because it is afraid of only ... a mouse, its natural prey.
